Worcester, MA - In a major tribute to the "Founding Father of Community Health Centers," the Great Brook Valley Health Center was renamed the Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center yesterday -- exactly one year after the Senator's death. Center CEO Toni McGuire was joined by the Senator's son, Ted Kennedy, Jr., Congressman Jim McGovern, Lieutenant Governor Timothy P. Murray, Worcester Mayor Joseph O'Brien, Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers CEO Jim Hunt and other state, local and community leaders.
