Mashpee health center dentist wins state award

Dr. Theresa Guanci of Community Health Center of Cape Cod has won the Massachusetts Dental Society 10 Under 10 Award. The award recognizes 10 society members who have been in the profession for 10 or fewer years and have made significant contribution to their profession, community or organized dentistry, according to a statement from the health center. Duffy Health Center to partner with MHSA on grant

Boston, MA: On January 8, 2019, Attorney General Maura Healey announced that the Massachusetts Housing & Shelter Alliance (MHSA) had been selected as a recipient of the AG's Office Social Determinants Partnership grant program. The grant will provide funding for "Health Care for Housing", a new, statewide initiative in which MHSA will partner with Duffy Health Center, along with Community Healthlink in Worcester and Mercy Medical Center - Health Care for the Homeless Program in Springfield.
