About Health Centers

Massachusetts' community health centers are here for everyone. It doesn't matter how much you earn or whether you have health insurance. Our doctors and nurses have been trained at some of the best medical and nursing schools in the country and want to help you and your family. They can provide you with check-ups and help you manage diseases like diabetes, asthma, hypertension, HIV/AIDS and cancer. At many health centers, you can also receive dental care, mental health counseling and substance abuse treatment. And if you or a family member needs it, our doctors and nurses will refer you to a local hospital.
