Capital Development
League staff, Community Health Center Capital Fund (the League's capital development affiliate) and
Capital Link work directly with health centers on a variety of capital development activities, both in Massachusetts
and nationally.
Community Health Center Capital Fund (CHCCF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting health
centers in accessing capital for building and equipment projects. Established in 1993 through the efforts
of the Neighborhood Health Plan and the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers, CHCCF provides
extensive technical assistance to health centers throughout the capital planning and financing process.
In 1998, CHCCF and the League were instrumental in establishing a new national non-profit organization called
Capital Link. With the support of the Bureau of Primary
Health Care, Capital Link provides capital-related technical assistance to health centers in planning
and obtaining financing for building and equipment projects on a national basis.
