- In the months since George Floyd's murder, there has been a lot of focus among health centers in Massachusetts and nationwide about developing new commitments to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion in their workforces. In this episode, we are joined by Tania Barber , the President and CEO of Caring Health Center , and Nora Carreras , a Senior Consultant at Health Management Associates, to discuss the practice of actualizing DEI within a community health center.
Madison Schmitt is the Senior Manager, Behavioral Health & Primary Care Workforce Initiatives at the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers where she leads workforce programs for community health centers, community mental health centers, and many other community-based organizations across Massachusetts. Madison has a direct background in behavioral health, earning her Bachelor's degree in Psychology and her Master's degree in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction - Applied Behavior Analysis.Producer
